Hyderabad: Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has accorded permissions for the forest clearance of 2nd Phase of Palamuru Rangareddy Irrigation Project. Central Forest Deputy Inspector General Sravan Kumar Varma has communicated this through a letter to the Special Chief Secretary of Telangana.
It is another key step, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who was performing Chandi Yagam, said and expressed his happiness over the permission granted for the forest clearance for Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation project. The Chief Minister thanked Union Minister for Environment and Forests Harsh Vardhan. The CM appreciated the efforts of the officials of the Irrigation and Forest Departments.
