Chancellor of MANUU appeals PM to allot land for national school

Hyderabad: Chancellor of Moulana Azad National Urdu University, Mr. FerozBakht Ahmed made a fervent appeal to Mr. Modi to allot land for the prestigious old school which is functioning temporarily in the premises of Eidgah, Delhi. It was dismantled during Emergency.

He recalled that on June 30, 1976, the then Lt. Governor of Delhi, Mr. Jagmohan got this school dismantled under the supervision of Commissioner of DDA, Mr. BR Timta and Ruksana Sultana.

He mentioned that on his PIL, Justice V. Kamaleshwar instructed DDA on August 27, 2019 to provide land. In accordance with this order, DDA allotted 4 thousand sq.meter land but MCD is putting hurdles and wants to construct a park there.
