HYDERABAD: It was six years back that Mr KCR had promised to shift Central Jail, Chanchalguda and Race Course from Malakpet to other places and the land would be allotted for educational purposes.
Even after the lapse of six years, this promise remains unfulfilled. It is being reported that it is not possible for the state government to fulfil this promise.
It was mentioned that proposals were already submitted to the govt. for shifting these institutions but no action has been taken.
It was also promised that with the establishment of educational institutions at these places, 20 lakh youths would get jobs. This was not done.
Now that TRS is canvassing for parliamentary elections, the leaders are tight-lipped on such issues.
TRS leadership is requesting people to make it possible to capture 15 parliamentary seats but no leader is talking about the fulfilment of the promises made earlier.
