Chandrababu meets Guv, seeks CBI probe into Kodela suicide

Vijayawada: TDP national president and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday demanded a CBI probe into the circumstances leading to the alleged suicide of former speaker and MLA Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.

Addressing the media here after meeting Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, Naidu said they demanded that the government order CBI inquiry on circumstances that compelled Kodela to commit suicide. Accusing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy government of adopting vindictive politics, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that Kodela was harassed by the State government with false cases. “Petty cases were filed against Kodela under IPC sections, which are non-bailable.
