The promise of Christian Graveyards which was made by the Telangana Government will soon be fulfilled.
On Wednesday, the Minister for Minority Welfare, Sri Koppula Eshwar announced this during a meeting with all Christian denominations.
He said that 68.32 acres of land had been identified in 13 different places of the State for Christian burial grounds.
Land for the cemetery was essential as all the existing graveyards had been exhausted and most of the cemeteries are more than 250years-old and were donated by the than rulers, he added.
