CM planning to induct new faces into cabinet

Hyderabad: TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is reportedly getting ready to expand his cabinet, which has been delayed so far. The party chief is to give clarity on the expansion soon, which gives hopes to the party leaders, including seniors and juniors alike.

The party strongly felt not to take former ministers like T Harish Rao and party working president KT Rama Rao and others, instead induct new faces in the cabinet. KCR, who was relying on religious sentiments and horoscope, was likely to expand the cabinet probably on February 10 or after, which was being considered as most auspicious for cabinet expansion, according to the ruling party leaders. Though the Chief Minister is to give a feeler to that extent or take up the expansion soon.

The new faces likely to be inducted into the cabinet include S Niranjan Reddy, Balka Suman, Aruri Ramesh, V Srinivas Goud, P Ajay and others. Having taken over as Chief Minister on January 13 after achieving thumping victory in the Assembly polls, the party supremo has taken his close aide Mahamood Ali as Home Minister, who earlier served as deputy chief minister, into the cabinet. It is said the Chief Minister may take senior leaders in the second round of expansion, including KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao and others.
