Hyderabad: Muslims of Old City lodged a complaint against Mr. Raja Singh, BJP MLA representing Goshamahal Assembly Constituency over his alleged blasphemous remark.
They alleged that Mr. Singh showed disrespect towards Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
On 2nd December, a group of Muslims lodged a complaint in Kamatipura Police Station and demanded the arrest of Raja Singh.
It may be mentioned that after the rape and murder of the veterinary doctor, the MLA shared a video.
In the video, he can be seen showing disrespect to the name, “Mohammed”.
It may be noted that the accused in the rape and murder case are Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu. They were sent to 14-day judicial remand.
