“Constitution in Crisis” says opposition on Constitution Day

New Delhi: Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inside addressing MPs on the occasion of Constitution Day, the opposition boycotted the joint session of parliament and protested near Ambedkar statue.

Opposition parties led by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi staged a protest against the political situation in Maharashtra. The participants were carrying posters that said “Stop Murder of Democracy” and “Constitution in Crisis”.
