Construct Masjid Ek Khana, Amberpet before constructing Kaleshwaram Temple, says Shabbir

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former Minister, Mr Mohammed Ali Shabbir demanded the TS Govt. to explain its stand on Masjid Ek Khana issue.

He further told that the first ten days of Ramadan are over but according to the assurance given by the Govt., construction work could be started.

He mentioned that on one hand, Home Minister is assuring to reconstruct the masjid at its place but the Advocate General claimed that there was no masjid at that place. It is not clear whose statement has to be taken as genuine.

He lamented that despite Wakf records, GHMC officials dismantled the masjid which is deplorable. It is also regrettable that its compensation has already been paid to unauthorized occupants.

Mr. Shabbir categorically told that TS Govt. has no interest in resolving the issues pertaining to the Muslims.
Commenting on the statement made by CM of TS Mr. KCR, Mr. Shabbir told that before constructing the temple at Kaleshwaram, he should reconstruct Masjid Ek Khana at Amberpet.

He also told that Mr. KCR has Rs 100 crore for Kaleshwaram Temple but he is not releasing the amounts for the implementation of welfare schemes meant for the Muslims.

He mentioned that the local political party also did not express its views on this issue. The secret pact between MIM and TRS should also be exposed.
