Cop caught in ‘sodomy act’ with minor boy

In a shameful incident reported from Mathura, a police constable was arrested for his alleged indulgence in unnatural sex with his neighbour’s minor son.

The accused constable hails from Meerut and was only transferred to Govardhan from Maant Police Station three months ago. He was arrested on Tuesday and was later suspended by his senior superintendent of police (SSP) Shalabh Mathur.

According to reports, the crime came to light when the seven-year-old cried for help during the act.

This alerted the neighbors who immediately rushed to the accused’s rented accommodation and caught him red-handed.

According to Police, the accused Kuldeep Singh Jatav, (25) was transferred to Govardhan from Maant police three months back. The accused hails from Meerut, the police said.


The Police have registered an FIR against the accused under section 377 (unnatural sex) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 after the victim’s father filed a complaint at  the Govardhan police station.

Talking to TOI, SSP Mathur said, “The allegations were found true in the preliminary inquiry.”

He added that necessary disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against the constable.
