COVID times: Volunteers distribute food packets

Hyderabad: Promising that none would sleep hungry a number of NGO’s and individuals are spot distributing food on the streets and hospitals.

The lockdown period has made it easy for the country to live a livelihood and makes it even worse for the daily wage workers and homeless.

But as promised none would die of starvation; the free food distribution by Peace Welfare Society and Awaaz Tanzeem Nampally is been carried out right from march 23 till today. They have been distributing food in government hospitals and on streets. “We are not been funded by any organization, it’s our personal savings and our friends and family who are joining hands to do it.” Said its executive.

Feroz Khan’s team, MLA was spot distributing vegetables packets at doorsteps in Ahmed Nagar division.

Not just this but individuals, who are unbranded where spot giving food in various part of the city on their four-wheelers and two-wheelers struggling their ways out of tightened police regulations.
