Danny DeVito, John Leguizamo, Peter Sarsgaard join Ben Foster’s ‘Harry Haft’

Washington: Danny DeVito, John Leguizamo and Peter Sarsgaard have been roped in to feature in Barry Levinson’s boxing drama ‘Harry Haft.’

The actors will be joining previously announced star Ben Foster, Vicky Krieps, Saro Emirze and Dar Zuzovsky.

Set in post-World War II period, the plot of the film is based on the novel ‘Harry Haft: Survivor of Auschwitz,’ in which Alan Scott Haft provides the first-hand testimony of his father, a holocaust victim.

According to Variety, scripted by Justine Juel Gillmer, the plot of the film follows Harry, played by Foster, a boxer who is forced to fight fellow prisoners in the concentration camps to survive.
The film began production on February 25 in Hungary and New York.

In addition to this upcoming project, DeVito will be next seen in Disney’s Dumbo.
