Dictatorship is at peak in Telangana: Chandrasekhar Azad

Hyderabad: Tagging Telangana state CM KCR, Bhim Army Chief Chandrasekhar Azad responding to his forced arrest tweeted Dictatorship has touched peaks in the state and that protesting rights of people are being suppressed by the authorities.

“First our people were beaten up with sticks and then I was arrested. Now, they are sending me back to Delhi,” Azad said adding that the Bahujan Samaj will never forget the humiliation and will be back soon, Hans reported.

Azad was arrested on Sunday before he could address the public meeting under Tappachabutra police limits.

Azad had arrived in Hyderabad to take part in the anti-CAA protest at Turkayamjal in Rangareddy district and was later to join another public meet but clashes erupted between the protestors and the police when the city cops denied permission for the meeting.

In order to avoid the agitation getting any worse, the police took Azad into custody as a preventive measure and sent him to Delhi today morning.
