Various speculations are making rounds about the outcome of the meeting of Maulana Arshad Madani with Mr. Mohan Bhagawat but one thing is evident that there seems to be some change in the style of thinking of Mr. Mohan Bhagawat.
In his speech in Kolkotta, Mr. Bhagawat advised RSS workers that they should make an effort to get closer to Minorities. He told them to develop their contacts with all the people irrespective of religion or caste.
Mr. Bhagwat also told that country can remain united when all of its citizens inculcate the passion for nationalism.
He mentioned that people can follow their faith but nationalism is the only way to get unity.
It may be mentioned that Maulana Arshad Madani had a meeting with RSS chief, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat in New Delhi on 29th August.
In the said meeting, both the leaders discussed various issues including Hindu Rashtra, indecent behaviors with Minorities, mob lynching etc.
Talking to media persons, Mr. Arshad Madani declared Mr. Bhagwat a wise man. Mr. Madani made it clear to Mr.Bhagwat that there should be complete freedom both for the majority and the minority communities in performing their rites and rituals.
Mr. Madani did not raise the issues pertaining to Triple Talaq, uniform civil code etc.
