Dignity March: Social activist starts country wide campaign

Hyderabad: The team which started “Dignity March” under the stewardship of Rajasthan’s social activist, Ms. Bhanwari Devi reached Hyderabad on 5th January.

The team will cover AP, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and finally, it will reach New Delhi on 22nd February 2019. This march has been organized by a non-governmental organization.

The members of the organizations organized a meeting at press club, Basheerbagh. Before this meeting, they raised slogans in front of the club demanding justice for women.

It may be mentioned that the organization proposes to cover a distance of 10000 kms in 24 States. The convener of the march, Mr. Asif Shaikh told that during the first march, the atrocities faced by 5000 girls and women would be highlighted. These are the victims of gangrape and other atrocities.
