Hyderabad: Chennakeshavulu, an accused in Disha rape and murder case was shot dead by the police in an encounter. His wife is a minor and is six-months pregnant.
Police officials sought details from her school which revealed that her age is 13 years and 6 months.
The officials decided to keep her in child welfare home for which her grandparents consented.
According to the report of the police, she had got married to the accused after a prolonged love affair. Right from her childhood, she has been residing in the house of her maternal grandmother.
It is also reported that she has a younger brother and a sister. They are also living in the same house.
