In yet another case of dowry harassment, a woman lost her life.
According to the details, P Manisha (20), resident of Mangapuram Colony, Alwal, committed suicide by hanging herself on a ceiling fan.
Police reported that she had got married to Narasimha. At that time, her parents had given Rs.20 thousand cash, 15 tolas gold and other articles.
On the occasion of her 1st wedding anniversary which was to be celebrated on Monday last week, her husband forced her to get more dowry. Vexed with this, she committed suicide. Police registered a case and started investigations.
