EC over acting in arbitrary manner in AP: VH

Kakinada: Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao on Thursday alleged that the Election Commission was overacting in an arbitrary manner in Andhra Pradesh State. He said he had never seen such a huge number of transfers of the IAS and IPS officers in the State in his 42 year long political career. He also said that the Election Commission has transferred the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh without any reason.

He made these remarks while addressing mediapersons at Kakinada. Speaking on the occasion, he said that he came to Andhra Pradesh to expose Telangana chief minister k Chandrasekhar Rao in front of The AP people on his failure to stop the demolition of BR Amedkar statue and remained silent on the issue. He said he would stage a dharna at Indrapalem bridge of the town on Friday demanding Telangana CM KCR to apologize to the people of country on the issue. (
