Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): An encounter is underway between terrorists and security forces in Khonmoh area on the outskirts of Srinagar.
One or two terrorists are believed to be trapped.
The joint operation is being carried out by 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Srinagar Police at the encounter site.
It is noteworthy that the encounter comes on the day when India is celebrating its 70th Republic Day.
