Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan struggled for a long time to bring about change in Pakistan. He told this while addressing a joint press conference here at Turkish Presidential Palace Ankara.
Erdogan informed the presspersons that both the leaders discussed to explore further avenues of relations between the two countries. He said Imran Khan also brightened the name of Pakistan in the world as a sportsperson and hoped that he would do so in politics as well.
Imran Khan who is on a two-day visit to Turkey told that his forefathers had played an important role in the independence movement of Turkey. Imran Khan called on Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace and was warmly received by President Erdoğan.
