London: European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index adding 0.2 percent to 6,831.40 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index won 0.9 percent to 11,234.05 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.5 percent to 4,895.59.
