Vijayawada: P Ramamohan Rao, retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary to Tamil Nadu Government has been appointed as Political Advisor to Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan. He joined the party on Monday at the Party Office in Vijayawada in the presence of Pawan Kalyan.
Thanking him for joining the party, Pawan Kalayan said Ramamohan Rao has effectively run the AIDMK government without any hassle when the then Chief Minister J Jayalalitha was in hospital. It was showing his capacity and capability. Under his able direction, the officials successfully implemented many welfare schemes in Tamil Nadu. “Great people like Ramamohan Rao came forward to serve the party with lots of confidence on me. It is an indication that the party will get strengthened with their support,” Pawan Kalyan added.
Speaking on the occasion, P Ramamohan Rao said he was very happy to join Janasena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan and assuming charge as Political Advisor to him. Andhra Pradesh was in complete distress. When the people of the State are strongly looking for a Messiah to protect them, Pawan Kalyan entered the political arena. People’s aspirations and historical needs drive Pawan Kalyan towards politics, he said and added that “Pawan Kalyan has strong commitment to implement best of the welfare schemes to the people. We find leaders like Pawan Kalyan very rare who believes in serving the people is serving the God. He entered into politics to realise the dreams of the people sacrificing his enormous income as a number one in the film industry. He is working hard round the clock for the uplift of youth, women, downtrodden and the backward people,” Ramamohan Rao said.
