Hyderabad: Ex-State President Jamaat-e-Islami Telangana Mr Khaja Arifuddin passed away at his residence in Warangal on Monday evening. This was informed by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana office.
Mr Khaja Arifuddin served as the last President of United Andhra Pradesh. Presently he was serving as secretary for Social Service Society of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
His funeral prayer will be offered at Masjid Hazrat Mashooq Rabbani, Warangal and will be laid to rest in the same graveyard. President Telangana JIH Mr Hamed Muhammad Khan, secretary training Mr Abdul Basith Anwar, Mr Abdul Majeed Shoaib, City president Hafiz Mohammed Rashaduddin and others expressed deep condolences on the demise of Mr Khaja Arifuddin and prayed for his maghfirah.
