With making a PhD as an essential qualification for the recruitment of lecturers in a private college, the trend of getting fake PhD degrees from the neighbouring states has increased.
According to the findings of TS State Council for Higher Education, several cases have come to limelight wherein lecturers were found to have fake degrees.
Advise to Private Colleges:
The said council has issued an advisory to the management of private colleges to ensure that the degrees presented by the lecturers are genuine. During the scrutiny, a case was detected wherein a candidate presented his master’s degree of 2007 whereas his B.Tech degree is dated 2010.
