Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) filed complaint against three websites for spreading fake news against Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP of Hyderabad.
These websites had alleged that Mohammed Areef, accused in Veterinary Doctor Rape and Murder Case, is the relative of Mr. Owaisi.
Reacting on the fake news, Mr. Mohd Tauseef, PRO of AIMIM lodged a complaint against these websites.
The party demanded registration of case under IPC and Information Technology Act.
Cops forwarded the complaint to Cybercrime Police.
