Washington: With no way to constantly post updates, fashionistas were left baffled as Instagram went down during the Paris Fashion Week.
Lamenting the ordeal, one fashion insider told Page Six, “It happened during the Valentino show. Everyone was freaking out.”
Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram went down on Wednesday due to some technical glitch.
Celebrities that went un-Instagrammed at the Valentino show included Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Celine Dion among others.
Instagram ultimately posted: “We’re back! The issue has been resolved and we should be back at 100 percent for everyone. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.”
Joking about the outage in an Instagram story, YouTube fashion and beauty director Derek Blasberg said, “As you know, Instagram broke yesterday. Here’s all the witty, self-promotional content you missed…”.
Blasberg later added pictures from a Jean Paul Gaultier show with Christina Aguilera, as well as shots with ‘Big Little Lies’. star Shailene Woodley and drag queen Violet Chachki.
