This is not the first case where the Muslim community of India shows the Ganga-Jamuna tehzeeb. A similar incident happened in Nirmal where Muslims performed the last rites of their Hindu brother.

The fear of coronavirus is so strong that the people are not ready to come out and lift the bier of their loved ones. Their own community members and relatives chose to stay inside and do not want to come out to perform the last rites.

Showing the Ganga-Jamuna tehzeeb, 10-15 members of Muslim community carried the body on their shoulders to the cremation ground and cremated her body as per Hindu rites.
