FEED Distributes 31 Lakhs in Scholarships Among Orphan Students

Hyderabad: Foundation for Economic and Educational Empowerment FEED on Saturday distributed scholarships worth over 31 lakh rupees among 400 orphan students.

According to Managing Trustee of FEED Mr Ghiasuddin Babukhan, FEED with the help of ICNA Relief (CANADA), distributed scholarship cheques worth rupees 31,24,800 at its office Unity Centre at Begumpet in Hyderabad.

In August this year, FEED distributed scholarships worth Rs. 30,81,400 as first instalment of the scholarships in the presence of Chairman FEED Mr Abdul Aleem Khan,  Nafeesa Khan of ICNA Relief Canada, Director – Educate India Fund, USA Ms Naseem Osmani and FEED Trustee Mr Ziauddin Nayyar.

According to Mr Babukhan, the orphans project, one of the major project of FEED and Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust benefits nearly 13,000 orphans annually from the trust’s donations of over 4.5 crores on this project.

Mr Javed Hood, FEED Trustee Mohammed Aliuddin Haider, Mr Adil Sanai, Mr Khalid Osmani (USA), Mr Mohammed Aman, Mr Ahmed Yazdani and others were also present on this occasion.
