Feroz Khan terms MIM “Speed breaker” in the development of Old City of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Congress candidate for Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, Mr. Feroz Khan claimed that there is a wave for change in Hyderabad. Victims of backwardness want a change. They want to give an opportunity to Congress to serve the people so that development can take place in Economic and Educational fields.

During the last leg of his election campaign, he visited Jangammet and Chandrayangutta. The local residents told him about their problems. They complained that leaders approach them only at the time of elections. After the elections, leaders demand money from people.

Mr. Feroz Khan further told that he had given an open challenge to discuss the development of Old City of Hyderabad to MP of Hyderabad, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi but he did not accept it. Had he proved in the discussions that he had developed Hyderabad, he would have withdrawn from contest, Feroz Khan said.

Mr. Feroz Khan pointed out that MIM wins elections not by genuine votes but by proxy. During the past three weeks, wherever he went, he saw many issues which remained unresolved. In the fields of education, health, housing and employment, the situation of Old City is very worst.

Slamming MIM workers, Mr. Feroz Khan said that even for ordinary issues, they demand money from the people.

Referring to Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s scheme for the eradication of poverty, Mr. Feroz Khan gave an assurance that every unemployed youth will get Rs. 6000 per month credited to his/her account.

Criticizing PM Modi, Mr. Feroz Khan said that he is not helping the poor but encouraging capitalists. He mentioned that Congress party had launched a surgical strike against poverty. He promised that he would develop Ganga-Jamuna Civilization in Hyderabad.

Targeting the CM of TS, Mr. KCR, Mr. Feroz Khan told that he had promised to transform Hyderabad City on the models of Constantinople and Singapore but he did not visit the old city even once. He questioned that when metro rail can run in other parts of the city why not in old city?

He termed MIM as the speed breaker in the way of development of Old City. He promised that he would present a bill in the Parliament for declaring Hyderabad as the second capital of India.
