Hyderabad: Task Force of Central Zone of Hyderabad City Police busted a racket of gambling which was being run in the name of video games.
Task Force Police led by Mohammed Abdul Jaweed, Inspector raided a centre in Musheerabad area yesterday and arrested four persons including the organizer. This racket was being run in a house near Ek Minar Masjid. Betting was being accepted under the pretext of ‘TOSS off Brain” and “Cricket video game”. Rs. 100 per head was being collected from the participants of the game.
Its organizers, Mohammed Ghouse (24), resident of Ek Minar Masjid, Musheerabad, Sajjad (27), Shaadaab (28), Abdul Nayeem (38) and others. Police also seized Rs. 49810, TV Gaming Box, 15 cell phones and other articles. The arrested persons were handed over to Musheerabad Police Station for taking further action.
