Hyderabad: GHMC Zonal Commissioner Hari Chandana Dasari inaugurated an OWC (Organic Waste Converter) at Virtusa Hyderabad facility located in the financial district on Wednesday.
Mrs Harichandana applauded the Virtusa’s initiatives taken for environment conservation.
Speaking on the occasion, Virtusa’s Centre Head and Facilities Head for India Mr Krishna Yedula, said that by launching this facility, both the Campuses in Hyderabad are zero waste discharge facilities and completely self-sustainable.
Krishna says, as part of Virtusa’s Sustainability Policy, we are committed to protect the environment and continue to take up such initiatives. Some of the recent initiatives include the launch of the electric fleet for our transport operations leading to the reduced carbon footprint.
