Girls are ahead in education than boys, says Zahid Ali Khan

Hyderabad: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily expressed the need for taking serious steps for promoting Urdu Language. Govt. of TS should take positive steps in this direction. He lamented that though Urdu was made the second official language of the State but in private schools, Urdu is not taught.

He urged the need for the private school managements to make arrangements for the teaching of Urdu in their schools.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan was addressing the annual day celebration function and the release of the annual magazine of the school.

He urged the Govt. to instruct the management of the schools where Urdu is not taught to make arrangements for the teaching of Urdu.

Prof. S.A. Shakoor Secretary of Urdu Academy. Prof Ashraf Rafi. former Head of the Dept. of Urdu O.U., Dr. Syed Mustafa Kamal and Prof. Baig Ehsaas attended the function as the guests of honor.

Mr. Raheemuddin Ansari, Chairman of Urdu Academy released school magazine. Later, Ghazal Programme was conducted by Ms. Tasreen Jowhar.

He Congratulated the girls who are marching ahead in the field of education and lamented that boys are lagging behind in the area.

He told that getting matrimonial alliances for the highly educated girls is posing a serious problem to the Muslim Community.

He stressed the need for parents and guardians to pay serious attention to persuading their sons to get themselves educated.

He encouraged the Muslim boys and girls to participate in various competitive examinations. He told that success in civil services will bring about a revolution in the community.

Mr. Raheemuddin Ansari expressed delight after releasing the school magazine. Prof. Baig Ehsaas told that Mehfil-e-Khawateen is about to complete 50 years of its functioning.

Prof. S.A. Shakoor applauded the efforts of Mehfil-e-Khawateen for the sustenance of Urdu Language.
