GOC TASA calls on Governor of Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Major General RK Singh, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) called on Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan at Vijayawada today.

The General Officer also called on the Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Shri LV Subrahmanyam, IAS as a courtesy visit after having recently taken over as GOC, TASA at Secunderabad.

Major General RK Singh, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) called on Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan at Vijayawada today.

They briefly discussed several issues related to Ex-servicemen welfare and civil military liaison. The GOC had an interaction with Additional Director General, Intelligence, Andhra Pradesh, Shri Kumar Vishwajeet, IPS and had discussions on security scenario in the state.

Later, the GOC met Director Rajya Sainik Welfare Board and he was briefed on various welfare activities being conducted about Ex-servicemen. The GOC visited the State Emergency Operations Centre, there he was briefed on the modalities of monitoring and conduct of disaster management.
