Hyderabad: Google team met Anil Kumar, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad and discussed “How to ease the traffic in HYdearabad City” by using Google Maps.
Addl. CP Traffic meet Google to tackle traffic
Google Inc. team led by Mr. Anal Gosh, Senior Program Manager, Google Inc, Hyderabad had a discussion with Anil kumar, Additional CP, (Traffic) Hyderabad on Thursday.
In this discussion Addl.CP(Tr), Hyderabad explained Traffic situation in Hyderabad city and projected the idea of Integration of Traffic information with Google to fecilitate the commuter to reach their destination in less time.
During the meet Addl CP traffic suggested Real time info regarding Road Closures/Diversions/Procession Routes/Traffic congestions due to Accidents/Road condition should be shown in Google Maps and assured cooperation of Hyderabad Traffic Police in developing algorithms, which enables the commuter to know the Real time traffic situation on a particular Stretch.
Later Google inc. & Lepton software representatives explained various aspects of integration of shared road traffic info in Google map.
