Govt bewildered with girl student’s protest

New Delhi: Women’s Commission issued a notice to Delhi Police for misbehaving and physically assaulting the girl protester who had staged Dharna in front of Parliament yesterday.

Ms. Swati Malival, Chairpersons of women’s Commission to the mediaperons that Ms. Anu Dubey in her written complaint made to women’s commission disclosed that she was physically assaulted by women police officers. She named the police officers who misbehaved with her. She told that women constables, Ms. Kuldeep, Manju etc. threatened her of dire consequences. She was made to lay on a bed and three women police officers mounted on her body.

She was beaten up. She has many would marks on her body from which blood was coming out.

National Commission for women issued a notice to police Dept. asking it to furnish a copy of FIR if it has been registered against the erring women police officials.

If no FIR has been registered, the reason for not entering FIR may be indicated.

Women’s commission suggested that stern action should be taken against the women police officers who misbehaved with the girl.

Ms. Swat Madinal wrote on her tweeter account that ‘the Govt. was so bewildered that it engaged the entire police force to present the girl from telling the truth’.

If police wants to show its strength, it should nab the anti-social elements which will teach them a lession not to repeat such heinous crimes.
