Gujarat Warehousing officials study welfare schemes of farmers in State

Hyderabad: Sanjay Nandan, IAS, Managing Director, Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation, today visited Telangana State for studying the welfare schemes being implemented for farmers procurement of food grains under MSP Warehousing and Logistic facilities available in the State.

Sanjay Nandan had a meeting with C. Partha Sarathi, IAS, APC & Principal Secretary to Government (A&C) Department at Secretariat. Lakshmi Bai, Director of Agricultural Marketing, V. Bhaskara Chary, Managing Director, Telangana State Warehousing Corporation, Telangana State MARKFED & HACA and higher officials of the concerned departments and organizations attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Partha Sarathi briefed the visitors about the Special and Unique programs being implemented in the Telangana State i.e. Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema, Mana Kooragayalu, Seed Bowl of India and so on. He also apprised them about 56.0 LMT Warehousing capacity holding in the State.

The TSWC with comparity of over 25.0LMTs has achieved 102% occupancy which stood in 1 st in the Country which is counting with the same position for the last 3 years through Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation has around 35 LMTs with an occupancy of 99% The Managing Director, Telangana State Warehousing Corporation has launched achievements made by the State of Telangana particularly under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana State shown inclination to implement the same in the State o Gujarat.
