Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee selected 18 Haj volunteers for the Haj season of 2019 through a draw held yesterday. Six of them belong to Hyderabad whereas, three each are from Nalgonda and Kareemnagar.
The draw was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammed Masihullah Khan, Chairman of State Haj Committee. EO of Haj Committee, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, members, Mr. Abu Talha Amjad, Mr. Mohammed Arif, Hafiz Laeeq and Mr. Arif Ahmed were present on this occasion.
It may be mentioned that draw has been held after the complete investigation and interviews of the candidates. Under the reserved category, two employees of State Haj Committee, Mr. Irfan Shareef, Asst. EO, Mr. Mohammed Asif Husain and Mohammed Ghousuddin from TS Wakf Board have also been selected.
