Haj pilgrims face difficulty in bringing Zamzam water

Hyderabad: Haj pilgrims of Telangana who return from Saudi Arabia after performing Haj complained that the behaviour of the officials of Air India was improper and discriminatory. They said that at Madina Airport, the officials of Air India were opening the bags of the Haj pilgrims and if they found any bottle filled with Zamzam in addition to the quantity supplied, they threw it away even if it is within the weight limit.

Although, Govt. of Saudi Arabia provides 5 liters Zamzam water free of cost to every Haj pilgrim, many of them like to bring an additional quantity of Zamzam water for giving it to their friends and relatives.
