Haj pilgrims get refund

Hyderabad: Haj pilgrims of Telangana who stayed outside the central area in Medina during their. Haj pilgrimage this year will get a refund of SR 400.

This was announced by Dr. Maqsood Ahmed Khan, CEO of Central Haj Committee while talking to the news reporter of Siasat Urdu Daily.

If there are any complaints regarding visa and residential facilities during Haj season, these will be referred to Indian Consulate General at Jeddah, he said.

The State Haj Committees should file such complaints in writing giving the details of Muallim.

Dr. Maqsood Khan further told that the selection of Haj Volunteers and to supervise them is the responsibility of state Haj Committees.

Dr. Khan Informed that a meeting of the Chairmen and Executive Officers of various states has been convened on 25th September in New Delhi wherein the report of the arrangements made during the Haj season 2019 would be sought and an action plan would be finalized keeping in view the past experiences.

He also said that Haj pilgrims complained that they had to wait at the airport for several hours.

It has been decided to recommend the name of other airlines for the next Haj season, he said.
