Haritha Haram drive at Hyderabad Institute of Excellence

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Institute of Excellence conducted a Haritha Haram drive in their premises on Monday. Staff along with students planted trees and pledge of planting 10,000 trees in their campus in phased manner.

The Collector, Vikarabad District Ms. Ayesha Khanam who is making very serious efforts and promoting the program at all levels was the Chief Guest and she herself showed the 400 students and staff members by planting trees herself thus leading us by example. 

The Municipal Commissioner Mr. Bhogishwarulu was also present with his staff at the occasion. He assured the management of complete support and started delivering saplings and immediately delivered 100 TREE GUARDS for the trees planted outside on the village access road up the College.  

The Collector spoke at the occasion and advised students and staff among various advantages of having green cover and planting trees wherever possible to reduce the pollution, attracting rains, reducing global warming and effecting change in climate due to deforestation.

She further said “if you plant a tree and nature it, you are nurturing a life” she instructed all students of HIE to plant at least five trees per student thus enabling all our students to realize the worth of Haritha Haram.
