Hyderabad: Dept. of Law of TS has permitted Central Crime Station of Hyderabad City Police to seize 55 properties belonging to Heera Gold Group.
It is reported that these properties belong to MD of Heera Gold Group, Nowhera Shaikh.
It is estimated that these properties are worth more than Rs. 300 crore.
It may be mentioned that CCS of Hyderabad City Police had filed a chargesheet in the court against Nowhera Shaikh and her colleagues.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the properties of Heera Gold Group are located in TS, AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra and other states. It was also known that the group owns a star hotel in Kochi city in Kerala.
Police found that 20 valuable flats of this group are located at Bandra, Kurla, Thane etc., in Maharashtra State.
Earlier, CCS of Hyderabad City Police had sought permission from Law Dept. to confiscate the properties of Heera Gold Group for which the Dept. has given green signal.
