Dengue Fever

Dengue is a mosquito-borne disease which affects a huge population every year. Dengue cases increase during monsoon because stagnant water is the breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Symptoms of Dengue Fever

High fever, headaches, pain behind the eyes, fatigue, joint pain, skin rash, nausea and vomiting are some symptoms of dengue.

Dengue fever needs urgent medical care to treat the condition on time. There are some effective home remedies which can help in controlling the symptoms of dengue.

Benefits of Papaya Leaf Juice

Papaya Leaf Juice is the best therapeutic agent for increasing platelet count in any individual once tests reveal the platelet count is below the prescribed range (1.5 lakh to 5 lakh).

The fresh papaya leaf juice contains essential compounds like papain and carocain that boost the platelet count and reduce infection during dengue fever. It is suggested to take a dose of 25ml of papaya leaf juice in water twice a day for effective results.

Demand of Papaya Leaf Juice

A shopkeeper who sells Ayurvedic medicines in his shops at Malkajgiri and Safilguda said that he was selling at least 10 bottles every day. These syrups are being sold ranging from Rs.180 to Rs.350 per bottle.

Once the platelet count is below the normal range, any doctor, Allopathic or Ayurvedic, will prescribe Papaya or Papaya Leaf Juice. Within 2 to 3 days of its usage, the platelet count is expected to increase.
