Hyderabad: How can a party which favours BJP become friendly to the Muslim political and religious parties?
The political party of Hyderabad which claims to be championing the cause of Muslims, declared its support to TRS knowing fully well that it is favouring BJP. This decision has irritated many Muslims of Hyderabad.
General Secretary of Sufi Academy, Maulana Syed Tariq Qadri commenting on the remarks made by Union Railway Minister, Mr. Piyush Goel told that the Central Minister declared TRS as a friendly party of BJP.
It is therefore, obligatory on the part of the political parties supporting TRS to explain the basis for their friendship.
Maulana Tariq Qadri expressed surprise that how can a friendly party of BJP be an ally of Muslim political party.
He further told that in the name of Muslim leadership, the development and the welfare of the Muslims were neglected and personal interests were fulfilled. During this long period, no comprehensive plan for the development of the Muslims was prepared. It has become an addiction for the Muslim political parties and organizations to change the boat irrespective of the fact who the sailor is. This kind of attitude of Muslim parties is disadvantageous to the Muslims. In the name of the Muslims, Muslim leadership is accumulating its wealth whereas the backwardness of the Muslims is increasing. It is reflected with a review on the poll affidavits filed by the candidates.
Maulana Qadri further told that in the name of Muslim representations, political mileage was gained. These so-called Muslim leaders are fulfilling their personal interests.
In a situation where the direct fight is between the secular forces and the communal elements, it is the responsibility of the voters to strengthen the secular forces.
Reacting on the support extended by United Muslim Forum for TRS, Maulama Qadri told that this forum never preferred the interests of the Muslim community. It always preferred personal interests. The leaders of the forum are allegedly involved in many cases. They are therefore, making an attempt to seek the patronage of the Govt. to get relief from the cases.
Maulana Qadri told Jamat-e-Islami and other Muslim organizations to take a decision after careful consideration. The statement made by Mr. Goel is enough to open their eyes. For the past 5 years, United Muslim Forum did not even talk to CM of TS on any issue pertaining to the Muslims. CM did not bother to give an appointment to the forum leaders.
Mr. Qadri recalled that TRS supported BJP on demonetization, Triple Talaq, President’s election etc.
He appealed to the voters to support secular parties in Lok Sabha Elections.
