Hyd Police solved abduction case of Businessman within 24 hours

Hyderabad: Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force today nabbed three accused involved in the abduction of owner of Maina Finance Company, Domalguda Gajender Parekh. The victim was kidnapped at about 11.30 pm on July 28 from Domalguda near AV College area under Chikkadpally police limits and later released after taking ransom of Rs 1 crore at about 2.30 am on July 29.

The accused were identified as Mohd Almas alias Almas, 21, Car Dealer, residing at Abdullah Shah Sahab Dargha, Misrigunj, Bahadurpura; Mohd Akbar alias Akbar, 22, a student, residing at Talabkatta and Mir Shafeeq Ali alias Shafeeq, 19, unemployed of Panjeshah, Mirchowk, Hyderabad.
Two more suspects are absconding. The police recovelred a net cash of Rs 35,30,000, a Tata Indica Car used in kidnapping the victim from Domalaguda, a Chevrolet Captiva Car used for dropping the victim after receiving ransom, a Honda Activa for receiving ransom amount at Abids and two Cell Phones.
 

According to police, Gajender Parekh, owner of Maina Finance Company, Domalguda was abducted by the accused when he went outside after completing his dinner to met his friends near AV College, Domalaguda and threatened him to kill if he failed to pay a ransom of Rs 3 crore and beat him badly. The victim called his friend one Rahul to arrange and pay Rs 1 crore to them. After taking the amount, he was released at about 02.30 am on Monday.
