Hyderabad: Auto-driver offers help, rapes 18 yo who lost her way

Hyderabad: The city was jolted with the gruesome rape and murder of Veterinary Doctor weeks ago and yet another similar incident has surfaced from the city sending chills down the spine.

An 18-year-old who had lost her way back to Grandmother’s home was allegedly raped by an auto driver under Chandrayangutta Police Station limits, Indiatoday reports.

According to reports, the teenager and her 10-year-old sister happened to lost their way back home on December 8 when the accused offered to help.

The accused took the girls to a lodge in Nampally area of the city and raped the girl while her younger sister was sleeping.

After committing the crime, the accused dropped the two girls near Falaknuma railway station the next morning.

The victim contacted her family later and narrated her ordeal.

Meanwhile, the family had already lodged a missing complaint with the police after the girls did not reach home.

The cops have registered a case under relevant sections.
