Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials have arrested a GHMC official in Circle 3 for demanding a bribe of Rs 3000 through his associate on Monday.
According to reports, B Sridhar accepted the bribe from complainant K Srinivas through his accomplice Chandra Mohan, TOI reports.
The official made the demand to spare the complainant’s building from being demolished over violation of norms.
The ACB sleuths laid the trap for their arrest.
Both were arrested under the Prevention of Corruption Act while the Officials said further investigation in on.
