Hyderabad: On Thursday night, a girl was found dead with her throat slit. This incident took place in the area which falls under the jurisdiction of Alwal Police Station.
According to the report published in Times of India, hours before the incident, the victim had celebrated Holi along with other children.
As per the details of the incident, the victim, aged 6 years had left the house for the celebration in the morning. When she did not return home till the afternoon, parents made an attempt to find her. In the evening, they approached the police after failing to find their daughter.
Later, the victim was found in a pool of blood in bushes.
Police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital to know whether the accused had sexually abused the girl before killing her.
Police also took two suspected persons into custody.
