Hyderabad: The subject of people’s frantic shopping of essentials in the city during the lockdown relaxation hours from 6 am to 10 am is trending on social media.
A video showing people in Ramnagar, Mushirabad and Machlibazar without face masks and social distancing has become a hot topic of discussion on Twitter.
Twitterati are criticising the government for failing to ensure that the people are following the Covid-19 protocols during the relaxation hours. They argue that the failure of the people in Machlibazar, Ramnagar and Mushirabad to follow the safety guidelines during their shopping may be counter productive.
Four hours of carelessness shall waste away any benefit gained during the 20 hours of strict lockdown, the Twiterratis said.
They urged the state government to take measures to ensure that the shoppers strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols during the relaxation hours.
