Hyderabad: BJP organized a Round Table conference in order to accelerate the process of celebrating Hyderabad Independence Day on 17th September.
It may be mentioned that the erstwhile state of Hyderabad was merged with the Indian Union on 17th September 1948 after the Police Action.
BJP has been insisting to celebrate this day as the Independence Day of Hyderabad Dr. K Lakshman attended the Round Table conference as a special invitee.
He pointed out that earlier, Mr. KCR had announced that Hyderabad Liberation Day would be celebrated but he forgot his promise.
