Hyderabad: Makkah Crane Accident victim gets Saudi Arabia’s aid

Hyderabad: Home Minister of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali handed over a cheque for Rs. 95 lakh to Mr. Mohammed Mujeeb and his family members.

It may be mentioned that in the crane accident which occurred in Makkah during the Hajj Season of 2015, a Hajj pilgrim of Hyderabad was injured.

Govt. of Saudi Arabia released the amount of financial assistance to the Hajj pilgrim.

While handing over the cheque to the victim and his family, Mr. Mahmood Ali introduced them to the audience.

Crane accident

It may be mentioned that in the crane accident, some Hajj pilgrims had lost their lives whereas, Mr. Mohammed Mujeeb was injured. Govt. of Saudi Arabia treated him in their hospital and sanctioned financial aid to him.

Mr. Mahmood Ali further told that after the incident, CM of TS, Mr. KCR had instructed the Hajj Committee to take initiative to get financial aid from Saudi Arabia. CM had also sent a written representation in this regard to Saudi Ambassador.

Mr. Mahmood Ali further informed that Mr. Mujeeb is the resident of Talabkatta, Moghalpura and he is a petty trader. Mr. Mahmood Ali hoped that with this financial assistance, the monetary condition of the family would improve.

Mr. Mahmood Ali also thanked Govt. of Saudi Arabia and Mr. KCR and congratulated Mr. Masihullah Khan, Chairman of TS Hajj Committee for initiating the action.

After handing over the cheque to Mr. Mujeeb, Mr. Mahmood Ali advised him to take care of the education of his children. Mr. Mujeeb and his family members thanked CM and Home Minister. Present in the gathering were Mr. Masihullah Khan, Chairman of TS Hajj Committee and others.
